My Workspace Essentials

sticky

There are so many things I wish my workspace could be at this particular moment in time- white walls, Tumblr art, tall leafy green plants. I’d have a tiny cactus on my desk named Benjamin then when I’d get bored while working I’d go like ‘Hey Benji, why wasn’t I just born a plant like you?’ I bet we’d be friends.

For now, I have to make do with what I have as I wait to meet Benji, Dorothy and the rest of the gang. They’ll love some of my workspace essentials which keep me functioning at my desk while I’m typing away at my computer.

-Sticky notes

The main reason I bought these sticky notes was so as to have colourful pieces of paper to write down my gratitude notes. They make me happier to look at- they add a little personality to the space. I also use them to write down motivational quotes to stick on my wall. Being Mary Jane influence.

-Notebooks

If you watched my introduction to my stationery video, you know how precious my notebooks are to me. I have all of them on my workspace so I can reach out for a specific one any time I need it.

-Gratitude Jar

I love having my gratitude jar so I can throw my sticky notes into it throughout the day. Fun fact, sometimes I don’t even remember gratitude notes I wrote in the morning at the end of the day. But I know that I feel good when I show gratitude.

-Toys

This may be a little unexpected, but Kish loves her tiny friends. I have toys lying around my workspace because I like to keep things a little whimsical. The creative process is ongoing here people, but who says it can’t be a little fun?
